Yamaha Aerox-E Launched in India: With the introduction of the Aerox-E performance EV in India, Yamaha expanded its well-known maxi sports lineup and entered the high-performance electric scooter market. The regular ICE Aerox 155 is improved upon by the new Aerox-E. The Aerox-E’s design adheres to the same aesthetic principles as the IC-powered version. Its sporting nature is emphasised by its massive dimensions, body stance, and unique X-centre design. Twin LED Class-D headlights, LED indicators, and a 3D-effect LED taillight are all included with the scooter.
Additionally, the Yamaha Aerox-E has a reverse mode that should improve everyday usability and a Boost function that releases additional acceleration for brief bursts of speed. The scooter’s approved riding range of 106 km on a single charge may draw customers looking for an EV for short weekend excursions and city use.

According to the manufacturer, the motor is powered by two removable 3 kWh lithium-ion batteries that use high-energy-density cells to provide reliable operation. These batteries are simple to remove for home charging thanks to their ergonomic grips. Eco, Standard, and Power modes are available for riders to select from, adjusting performance to suit various riding circumstances.
