It is anticipated that HyperOS 3, which is now available in China, would provide new AI features, enhanced performance and general usability across a variety of devices when it arrives in India.
HyperIsland, Xiaomi’s version of Apple’s Dynamic Island, is one noteworthy addition. It displays the charging speed, offers real-time activity updates and offers quick-glance alerts. Users may move, expand, or handle tasks without ever leaving their current screen thanks to the new dual-island structure. This makes it easier to access music controls, call details and schedules at the top of the screen or to turn audio recordings into floating windows.
In September, the company debuted HyperOS 3 in China. The flagship Xiaomi 17 series was the first phone to have the software preinstalled and it is based on Android 16. The Xiaomi 14 series, Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi 15 and Redmi 14C are anticipated to receive the update between November and December. By March 2026, HyperOS 3 will be available for older smartphones, including the Redmi Pad Pro 5G and Xiaomi 13 series.
