Toyota Unveils the FJ: An Accessible Off-Road Icon.

The Land Cruiser FJ is the modern, more accessible version of the iconic FJ40.

Toyota has confirmed the FJ will go on sale in Japan and globally by the middle of 2026.

The FJ is anticipated to debut in India by 2027 or later, tapping into the strong appetite for lifestyle SUVs.

It's a genuine body-on-frame machine, built on the robust IMV platform that is already localized for the Fortuner and Hilux.

When it arrives, the FJ is anticipated to slot significantly lower than the Fortuner in the Toyota lineup.

It features the 2.7-liter 2TR-FE gasoline engine (163 PS / 246 Nm), chosen for its proven longevity and dependability over turbocharged performance.

With a wheelbase significantly shorter than the Land Cruiser 250, the FJ boasts a naturally tight 5.5-meter turning radius.

The design is rugged and functional, featuring exposed hardware, detachable bumpers for easy repair, and lots of room for bolt-on attachments.

Toyota maintained the cabin's practicality and cleanliness with wipe-clean materials, aligning with its role as an everyday usable 4x4
