Volkswagen Tiguan, Taigun and Virtus are available with lucrative discount deals this Diwali period in India
Volkswagen Massive Diwali Discounts: Volkswagen has begun the holiday season by offering a number of substantial price reductions on a variety of its models. Depending on the model, new car purchasers considering the brand’s three-model lineup—which includes the Tiguan, Taigun, and Virtus—can now take advantage of significant cash savings, exchange or scrappage bonuses, and loyalty advantages.
Although the precise numbers will differ, the headline deals on some models start at Rs 3 lakh, offering customers the opportunity to save a significant amount of money at a time when demand is already strong because of the GST 2.0 slab changes.

Volkswagen Virtus Joins the Festive Offer Lineup
Meanwhile, the Honda City, a midsize sedan that competes with the Virtus, completes the Volkswagen lineup with some alluring deals of its own. The 1.0 TSI Highline model offers the largest savings, with savings of up to Rs 1.56 lakh. The Virtus Topline, which offers a maximum benefit of Rs 1.5 lakh, comes in just behind.
The higher-performance 1.5 TSI GT Plus versions get varying degrees of festive respite, while other 1.0 TSI variants are being supplied with modest bonuses in the region of Rs 50,000. Benefits for buyers who choose the manual gearbox are limited to about Rs 50,000, while those who choose the GT Plus Chrome or Sport models with the DSG dual-clutch automatic can save up to Rs 90,000.
Additional Offers on GT Plus Sport Variant
The Tiguan, Volkswagen’s current flagship, is where the most discounts are available. The SUV was imported into India as a complete CBU around six months ago, and it costs Rs 49 lakh for the R Line model. The GST modifications recently reduced the model’s sticker price by a significant Rs 3.27 lakh, making it more competitive in terms of cost. Volkswagen has further sweetened the deal for October by providing benefits of up to Rs 3 lakh, which, when combined with the other initiatives, essentially lowers the price of the Tiguan by over ₹6 lakh.

This makes the German brand’s only high-end SUV a far more alluring option for consumers, weighing it against competitors in the full-size SUV market. The festive perks go up to Rs 1.55 lakh for those who choose the sportier GT Plus Sport variant, which has blacked-out wheels and trim. With price reductions of a little over Rs 1 lakh on a few trims, Volkswagen has also offered discounts on some of the stock from the 2025 model year, albeit at a slightly lesser level than the outgoing units.

Offers Vary Across Regions and Dealers
It’s important to remember that these advantages vary by region and are largely reliant on dealer-level inventories. Buyers may discover better offers on unsold units than on new 2025 production batches because some 2024 stock is still available at favourable pricing. As usual, the specific amount of the reductions will depend on availability; therefore, potential customers should inquire with their local dealer for particular numbers.
