Toyota Overall Sales Performance
TKM delivered 27,089 vehicles last month, a 3,287-unit increase over September 2024. Its mainstay product, the Innova series, which included the body-on-frame Crysta model from the second generation and the monocoque Hycross model from the third, sold significantly more than any other vehicle. In September 2025, it added 9,783 units to TKM’s sales, a 21% increase from the previous year (September 2024: 8,052 units).
Hilux, Camry, Vellfire, and Land Cruiser Figures
In contrast to its derivative, the Fortuner, the Hilux is not a well-liked car in our market. Although TKM only delivered 219 pickup trucks last month, sales were up 18% from the same month the previous year (186 units). Just 137 units of the Camry, the last model in its class in India, were sold by TKM in September 2025.
A slight 8% year-over-year increase was recorded by the hybrid sedan (September 2024: 127 units). Even fewer Toyotas with eight-digit prices sold higher up the lineup. Last month, the Vellfire sold 107 units, a 23% increase from the previous year (September 2024: 87 units). Regarding the Land Cruiser 300, TKM supplied 27 units this year but failed to deliver a single one in September of the previous year.

Toyota Performance of Rebadged Models
The majority of the other vehicles that TKM supplied in large quantities were reskinned or rebadged Maruti Suzuki models. For example, the Urban Cruiser Hydryder, a mechanical relative of Maruti Suzuki’s Grand Vitara, was the second-best-selling vehicle. Last month, the company delivered 7,608 units of this type, which is 41% greater than the 5,385 units delivered in September 2024.
