1. New Renault Duster:

In the first half of 2026, Renault plans to reintroduce the Duster in India with a completely rebuilt variant. The new Duster, which is based on the CMF-B+ modular chassis, will initially be available with gasoline engine options; a hybrid version is probably going to follow.

2. Nissan Tekton:

Next year, Renault also intends to introduce the Tekton, a brand-new midsize SUV. It will share a number of mechanical components with the next-generation Duster and be constructed on the CMF-B+ platform. It is anticipated that the five-seater SUV will serve as the Terrano’s spiritual successor.

3. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara:

In the upcoming months, Maruti Suzuki plans to launch the eVitara, its first entirely electric vehicle that will only be offered for sale at Nexa dealerships. With two different battery options, the EV will have a range of over 500 kilometres between charges. 5. Toyota Urban Cruiser BEV:

The e Vitara’s brother, the Toyota Urban Cruiser BEV, will likewise use the e Heartect platform and come with two battery options that have a similar range. The SUV is anticipated to be in stores soon after the e-Vitara’s debut, and although its dimensions may vary somewhat, its feature set will essentially be the same.

6. Mahindra XUV700 Facelift & XEV 7e:

For the XUV700, Mahindra is getting ready for a mid-life update that might be on sale in early 2026. Among other features, the electric Harrier will include a panoramic sunroof, a digital driver’s display, a rotary drive mode selection, and a bigger touchscreen infotainment unit.

The Acti EV technology, which powers the Curvv EV and Punch EV, will serve as the foundation for the e-SUV. It probably has a dual-motor configuration and a battery pack that is between 60 and 80 kWh in size. With a single charge, the electric Harrier should have a range of up to 500 miles.
