With the introduction of the XUV700 in 2021, Mahindra became one of the first companies to use ADAS technology. Level 2 ADAS is only available on the SUV’s top-spec AX7 and AX7 L models. Both manual and automatic gearboxes are available for the 2.0-litre mStallion petrol engine and the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. The base price (ex-showroom) of the AX7 trims is Rs. 18.37 lakh.
2. Hyundai Creta
In the Indian market right now, the Creta is the top-selling mid-size SUV. Hyundai’s SX Tech and SX(O) variants come equipped with Level 2 ADAS. The former comes with a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine (MT alone) and a 1.5-litre NA gasoline engine (MT/IVT). The top-spec SX(O) version comes with 1.5-litre tGDi DCT and diesel AT powertrain combinations in addition to the previously listed engine options. The Hyundai Creta’s ADAS package starts at Rs. 15.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

In August, Tata Motors redesigned the Harrier variant lineup, adding ADAS to the Adventure X+ and Fearless X+ trim levels. A 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine with 170 horsepower and 350 Nm of maximum torque powers the SUV. It is paired to a 6-speed AT transmission and a 6-speed manual gearbox. The ex-showroom pricing of the Tata Harrier with ADAS is Rs. 18.30 lakh.
5. Maruti Suzuki Victoris
The first vehicle in Maruti Suzuki’s lineup to be equipped with ADAS technology is the recently released Victoris. Only the top-spec ZXi+ AT trims with the 1.5-litre K15C mild-hybrid engine option come with Level 2 ADAS. The most powerful hybrid model was not equipped with this safety function. Level 2 ADAS-equipped Victoris start at Rs. 17.19 lakh (ex-showroom) in pricing.
