Interior and Technology Features
As you go into the Audi Q3, you are greeted by a new instrument cluster configuration that features an 11.9-inch screen. The SUV also comes with a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is geared toward the rider. The touchscreen runs on the Android operating system and is compatible with Apple CarPlay. A cooled 15W wireless charger, ambient lighting, a 12-speaker SONOS system, ADAS, USB-C ports, and more are extra features.
Exterior Design Updates
First off, the 2018 Audi Q3’s exterior features a new DRL design and headlamp housing that uses Matrix LED technology. In addition to improving nighttime visibility, it can adjust its throw of light to different conditions. The addition of a new hexagonal grille featuring the brand’s 2D emblem completes the look. In a similar vein, OLED lighting and an illuminated logo give the vehicle’s back end a new look.

Powertrain and Performance
A 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that generates 204 horsepower and a 7-speed DCT that transfers power to all four wheels via Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The manufacturer claims an acceleration time of 7.1 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
Plug-In Hybrid Variant
Audi Q3’s plug-in hybrid powertrain configuration is its most notable feature. This combines an electric motor with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The electric motor contributes 114 horsepower and 330 Nm, while the gasoline engine produces 174 horsepower and 250 Nm. When combined, the powertrain produces 400 Nm and 268 horsepower. Additionally, it has a 25.7 kWh battery pack that can travel up to 119 km on electricity alone.

Engine Options
A variety of engines are available for the new Q3, in addition to the one stated earlier. A 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with 148 horsepower and 250 Nm is its powerplant. Cylinder deactivation technology and mild-hybrid capabilities are also included for improved fuel efficiency. Additionally available is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 261 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. There is also a 2.0-litre diesel engine available with 148 horsepower and 360 Nm.
