Tesla Model Y Deliveries Start in India: On July 15, 2025, Elon Musk’s electric vehicle company, Tesla, debuted the Model Y in India. Two months after its launch, Tesla has begun shipping the Model Y. With this, the company takes a big step ahead and opens a new chapter in India’s sustainable growth and electric vehicle ownership. Additionally, the company has revealed that new owners of Model Ys will receive a free Wall Connector, which can be easily installed in their parking spot for quick home charging.

The Model Y is available for purchase on the company’s official website, and buyers in India can test drive the electric vehicle at the Tesla Experience Centres in Delhi and Mumbai. Now, customers may register online to take a test drive of the Model Y via Tesla’s carefully planned route.
Free Wall Connector and Charging Convenience
With each new Tesla vehicle purchased, Tesla is providing a free Wall Connector to help facilitate the shift to sustainable energy. Installing the Wall Connector at clients’ residences or places of work allows them to begin each day with a fully charged Tesla, cutting down on expenses per mile and doing away with the need to make journeys to the gas station.
Additionally, Tesla charging stations in Delhi and Mumbai are available to customers. Four V4 Superchargers (DC) and four Destination Chargers (AC) are available at the One BKC, Mumbai, Tesla charging station. With four V4 Superchargers (DC) and three Destination Chargers (AC) at the Aerocity, Delhi, Tesla Charging Station, users can choose the one that best suits their needs.

Both the Rear-Wheel Drive and Long-Range Rear-Wheel Drive trims of the Tesla Model Y have a range of 500 and 622 kilometres (WLTP), respectively. The Model Y may be purchased for a starting price of Rs. 59.89 lakh.
