Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Vivek Srivatsa commented on the booking milestone, saying, “We sincerely thank our customers for this overwhelming response which reaffirms the legendary status of the Tata Sierra.” The Sierra has created a new category, the Premium Mid-SUV, in keeping with its tradition of breaking conventions. It reimagines what a mid-size SUV may be by utilising a thorough awareness of changing consumer demands.
Even though reservations only started yesterday, the Sierra has already proven to be one of Tata’s most successful launches in recent years, which makes the accomplishment even more noteworthy. The Sierra, which debuted in late November 2025 and is priced between Rs. 11.49 lakh and Rs. 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), is positioned above the Curvv in the brand’s portfolio.

The SUV is based on Tata’s revolutionary ARGOS architecture, a platform that can accommodate a variety of powertrain choices in addition to contemporary electronics and safety features. The Sierra blends contemporary design elements with vintage accents. Sharp LED headlamps, full-width light bars, and dual-tone alloy wheels firmly bring it into 2026, while the upright stance and large glass area are obvious nods to the original.
Through licensed dealerships or internet platforms, customers can reserve the SUV for a nominal sum of Rs. 21,000. The start of deliveries is set for January 15, 2026. Tata has also made significant investments in variant choice. Trims for the Sierra include Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished, and Accomplished+.
It has a three-screen dashboard that includes a passenger screen, a central infotainment display, and a digital instrument cluster. A panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, powered tailgate, Level 2 ADAS, automatic climate control, JBL audio system with a dash-mounted speaker, etc.
