Royal Enfield has formally teased the Himalayan 750 and the Him-E electric ADV bike. A road-biased alloy wheel version of this bike is also undergoing testing, but the one displayed by Royal Enfield is an off-road model. In its nearly production-spec configuration, this vehicle has been spotted once more, and it appears to have adjustable suspension. Let’s examine it more closely.
Testing and Readiness
Will only the alloy wheel version be available, or will both of these versions feature tubeless tyres? I’ll save that question for another time. The item in question appears to be either production-ready or almost so. It even had the required drape guard installed, indicating that it was either ready for launch or had advanced to the last testing phase.
Adjustable Suspension and Brakes
The primary feature of these recent spy photos is what appears to be an adjustable rear suspension system with a dial above the rear left footpegs. It is unlikely that the front USD forks will be excluded if the rear suspension is adjustable. Dual disc brakes up front are a defining feature of RE’s new 750cc lineup, and this Himalayan 750 test mule is no exception.
Spy Shots Reveal Alloy Wheel Version
Recent spy photos from ShalsVlogs reveal an alloy wheel model of the Himalayan 750, although the first batch of versions seen testing in India were more off-road focused. This implies that Royal Enfield might provide both versions at launch or a later alloy wheel version.

Design and Build Features
Like the Himalayan 450, it features LED taillights with built-in turn indicators, a single-sided upswept exhaust, and a robust-looking luggage rack at the rear. This specific version even featured guards for the engine and fuel tank that can be used as mounting points for baggage or jerrycans.
Engine and Performance Details
This engine has fins, which indicate that it uses oil and air cooling rather than a liquid cooling solution. This new engine, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch, is anticipated to produce about 750cc of displacement, 55 horsepower, and 60 Nm. This Himalayan 750 Alloy version, which will offer Google Maps and music control, also features the same Tripper Dash.
Enhanced Swingarm and Wheel Design
The rear swingarm appears elegant and high-end rather than like a conventional box-section element. A larger peripheral vision will be provided by the split seats and ORVMs, which are finally of the functional kind rather than circular (as seen with the Himalayan 450). Alloy wheels have double spokes in each element, giving the appearance of a five-element star design.
