The company announced on Monday that the Poco F8 Pro & Ultra Launch on Nov 26 in Bali. The launch event, which will take place in Bali, Indonesia, will introduce the Poco F8 Pro and the Poco F8 Ultra. This is the first time the Xiaomi sub-brand has formally disclosed information about its upcoming smartphones; previously, the devices were spotted on several certification and benchmarking websites, giving some indications of what to expect.

The smartphone series is also expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite series chipsets.
Although nothing is known about the Poco F8 series, a phone that appears to be the Poco F8 Pro and has the model number “2510DPC44G” was discovered on Geekbench. According to reports, the phone may use a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC due to its ARMv8 architecture and 4.61GHz performance cores.
The official Poco Global account announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra will be unveiled on November 26 at an event in Bali, Indonesia, at 4 p.m. local time (1:30 p.m. IST). The performance was also hinted at in the post as a major feature of the next series.

In a post, tipster Prathap G (@Prathapgtech) asserted the same. According to the source, the Snapdragon 8 Elite will power the Poco F8 Pro, while the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset will power the Poco F8 Ultra.
Furthermore, according to the report, the smartphone series might not include a charger, breaking the company’s long-standing policy of including one for free. In contrast, the Poco F7 Pro from the previous year came with a 90W charger.

The alleged retail box of the Poco F8 Pro, which features the “Sound by Bose” branding, was leaked earlier this month. Interestingly, the business’s social media accounts also hinted at an audio collaboration with a company that “begins with B.” It’s interesting to note that the same relationship was present in Xiaomi’s Redmi K90 series, which debuted last month. This led to rumours that the Poco F8 series would be a rebranding of the China-only series.
