The Triumph Tracker 400 has a completely new body and an updated tank design, and it is marginally more powerful than the Speed 400.
The Triumph Tracker 400, a motorcycle that resembles a dirt oval but is primarily designed for road use, has been unveiled by Triumph. The Tracker 400 is scheduled to launch globally in early 2026 and is anticipated to arrive in India later that year, joining Triumph’s expanding 400cc roster. The Tracker 400 plays a completely different card than the Speed or Scrambler, as it features a stripped-back, aggressive stance and flat-track looks.

The Tracker 400, like previous Triumph 400s, is powered by the well-known 398 cc TR-Series single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It generates 37.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm and 42 PS at 9,000 rpm, with a wide range of torque available at lower speeds. A six-speed gearbox is attached to the motor, and a slip-and-assist clutch is standard.
It has a purpose-built appearance thanks to the boxy fuel tank, flat seat with a colour-matched cowl, side number boards, and twin upswept exhausts. The fuel tank design has been updated, and a circular LED headlamp and simple bodywork keep things tidy. Ride-by-wire throttle, dual-channel ABS, switchable traction control, a USB-C charging connector, and an analogue speedometer with a small LCD screen are all included for buyers.
A cast aluminium swingarm is attached to a tubular steel frame, and 43 mm upside-down forks at the front and a gas-charged monoshock with an external reservoir at the back handle suspension duties. The Tracker is equipped with dual-channel ABS disc brakes on both ends and 17-inch alloy wheels with Pirelli MT60 RS tyres.
The Tracker 400 will be available worldwide in Racing Yellow with black accents, Aluminium Silver with red accents, and a darker Phantom Black colour. The British manufacturer might think about releasing the Tracker 400 domestically in India, where it is designed for global markets, given the country’s expanding flat track scene.

The Tracker 400 differs somewhat from its brothers in terms of ergonomics. A more engaged riding position that promotes elbows-out riding, particularly around corners, is produced by the wide, flat handlebar sitting lower and farther forward while the footpegs are pushed back and lifted. The 805 mm seat height makes it accessible for the majority of riders despite the aggressive posture.
