Interior Comfort and Infotainment Upgrades
Moving inside, the V8 P425 variant’s sliding and reclining second-row option has increased the cabin’s adaptability and comfort, especially for long off-road excursions or family outings. In the centre is a new 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment panel that puts the most important features within the driver’s fingertips.
Variants, Pricing, and GST 2.0 Benefits
With prices starting at approximately Rs. 98 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 110 X-Dynamic HSE variant and going up to Rs. 2.60 crore for the flagship OCTA Edition One, which saw a price drop of up to Rs. 18.6 lakh due to the GST 2.0 tax slab, the Land Rover Defender is currently available in India in three body styles: Defender 90, 110, and 130.
Driver Display and Safety Features
There will also be a 12.3-inch interactive driver display and the option of a head-up display. A new driver attention monitor camera that detects indicators of exhaustion or distraction is one of the safety improvements. Up front, the headlights have newer designs when they are turned on. There will also be flush-mounted lights with smoked lenses at the back.

Engine and Powertrain Options
A 2.0-litre turbocharged mild-hybrid gasoline engine, a 3.0-litre diesel mild-hybrid engine, and a more potent 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine with up to 426 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque are among the possible powertrain options. All-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic gearbox come standard on all models.
Additional Interior Comfort and Tech Options
Alpine roof lights, which disperse natural light throughout the cabin, are another addition to the 2026 Land Rover Defender’s interior comfort package. While new matting, door seals, and loadspace liners are supposed to make maintenance easier after off-road trips, customers can choose between leather and non-leather seating options. Additionally, a high-end Meridian sound system and technologies like CO2 management for improved cabin air quality will be installed.
