Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Launch
The locally produced zero-emission SUV will be shipped to more than 100 countries worldwide in addition to the domestic market. At first, more than 2,900 units were exported from Pipavav Port in Gujarat to 12 European countries, including the UK, Germany, Norway, France, Denmark, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Hungary, Iceland, Austria, and Belgium.

The battery can be charged from empty to 80% full in about 50 minutes thanks to DC fast charging. It is built on the Heartect e architecture and will have strong safety standards. It will be offered in Delta, Zeta, and Alpha trim levels.
It will also give birth to a Toyota sister, the Urban Cruiser BEV. The beginning price for India is anticipated to be around Rs. 17 lakh (ex-showroom), and it will be sold through the upscale Nexa sales stores. With a 48.8 kWh and 61.1 kWh LFP battery pack from BYD, it is said to have a driving range of more than 500 kilometres between charges.
At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the Indo-Japanese company unveiled the e Vitara, its first all-electric car, which would eventually be available for purchase in the final month of this year. More than 6,000 Maruti Suzuki e Vitaras have already been transported from SMC’s Gujarat plant since the series production of the vehicle began in August for foreign markets.

The larger battery pack has a more powerful motor rated at 174 PS maximum power and 192.5 Nm of torque, while the smaller one with an electric motor produces 144 PS and 192.5 Nm of torque.
