Together, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris and Grand Vitara sold over 23,900 units in October 2025, making a substantial contribution to the brand’s SUV sales.
Midway through September, Maruti Suzuki unveiled the Victoris midsize SUV with great anticipation, and the first response has been overwhelmingly good. After receiving more than 25,000 reservations in a brief period, the Victoris sold 13,496 units domestically in its first full month of sales, October, the most for a midsize SUV.

In both the Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP crash test programs, it received all five points. Its 1.5-litre K-Series four-cylinder gasoline engine generates 139 Nm of peak torque at 4,300 rpm and 103.06 PS of maximum power at 6,000 rpm. The 1.5-litre, three-cylinder hybrid gasoline engine produces 122 Nm between 3,800 and 4,800 rpm and 92.45 PS at 5,500 rpm.
In September 2025, 4,261 units of the five-seater were dispatched. Just over 23,900 Victoris and Grand Vitara units were sold. Additionally, it sold more than 3,400 units more than its sibling, which is sold through upscale Nexa dealerships. The Grand Vitara and the Victoris are positioned similarly, with the exception that the former is sold through the standard Arena stores.
A dual-tone interior theme, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a powered tailgate, Level 2 ADAS technology, an eight-speaker audio system, an eight-way powered driver seat, and more are among the features of the Victoris, which can be bought with either 2WD or AWD.
The base price of the Maruti Suzuki Victoris is Rs. 10.49 lakh, and it is available with petrol, CNG, and powerful hybrid powertrain options. It comes in six grades, with the top-spec model (ex-showroom, introduction) costing up to Rs. 20 lakh. By Navratri, the brand started giving customers their keys, and the SUV is quite safe.

The CNG version, which is 4,360 mm long, 1,795 mm wide, 1,655 mm tall, and has a wheelbase length of 2,600 mm, has a CNG tank tucked underneath the floor to maximise boot space. Maruti Suzuki claims up to 21 kmpl fuel economy with the standard petrol and 28.65 kmpl with the powerful hybrid eCVT combination.
