1. Maruti Suzuki New Compact MPV
For the Indian market, Maruti is developing a new small MPV that will sit beneath the Ertiga. The four-wheeler is probably going to go on sale in 2026. The brand’s Nexa dealership chain will sell the new compact MPV, which is less than 4 meters long and will compete with vehicles like the Renault Triber in the home market. The MPV is anticipated to be powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Z-Series gasoline engine coupled with HEV Series hybrid technology.

2. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid
Maruti Suzuki is developing a range extender hybrid, sometimes referred to as an internal HEV Series hybrid technology. The brand’s test mule for the Fronx, which will be the first vehicle in its lineup to use this innovative hybrid powertrain, has already been spotted a few times. It will be propelled by the hybrid system and the well-known 1.2-litre Z12E gasoline engine. The Fronx, which is anticipated to be on sale in the first half of 2026, may receive the HEV Series hybrid system in addition to a few modest cosmetic improvements over the present model.
3. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara

The e Vitara is already being produced at the company’s manufacturing plant in Hansalpur, Gujarat. Originally anticipated to make its debut around the holiday season, the date has probably been moved to early next year. There will be two battery pack options for Maruti Suzuki’s first electric vehicle: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. The latter is said to have a range of about 500 kilometres on a single charge. Only a 2 Wheel Drive version is anticipated for the India-spec vehicle.
4. Maruti Suzuki New 7-Seater SUV
The most recent sources indicate that the project is still being assessed, despite prior rumours suggesting the release of a new seven-seater SUV this year. Maruti Suzuki will compete with the Mahindra XUV700, Hyundai Alcazar, and Tata Safari in the high-end seven-seater SUV market. Using the well-known Global-C chassis, it will probably be longer than 4.5 meters; however, in order to provide room for an additional pair of seats, the wheelbase will be longer. It is anticipated that the Maruti 7-seater SUV will go on sale in 2026–2027.
