The new Mahindra XUV700’s side profile is probably going to look very much the same. The two variants of the flush-fitted door handles should remain available, with the top trim deploying electronically and the base and middle trims requiring manual input.
With the facelift, the Mahindra XUV700 will receive some extensive changes. At first, there were rumours that it would follow in the footsteps of the XEV 9e and the impending XEV 9S. But according to the most recent spy photos taken during the last stage of testing, the ICE model will keep its poised front while making small adjustments to the headlamps, bumper, grille, and fog lamps.

With the next update, Mahindra might revamp the XUV700’s rear bumper and taillight clusters. These days, connected tail lamps are popular in this market; Mahindra’s own XEV 9e is one example. However, the business is unlikely to include that function on the XUV700, guaranteeing a sophisticated, traditional appearance. The only possible design modification is the addition of new 17- and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
The five-seat version of the XUV700 was retired by Mahindra earlier this year, and after the facelift, it might still offer the SUV in six- and seven-seat models. It is not anticipated that the firm will alter the engine or transmission options. The upgraded model may start at about 14 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).

Although the design won’t be as unified as in international vehicles, tech-savvy consumers will value the addition of a new passenger touchscreen that enables them to play games, stream music and films, and make video chats, just like in the XEV 9e and the next XEV 9S.
