We therefore believe that it might be a commemorative edition for its work in the all-electric Formula E race. Although we don’t notice any special improvements from the preview, another possibility is that the red body colour might symbolise a superhero stable like Deadpool. This leaves us with the potential introduction of a new version that might be the BE 6’s entrance point.
Given that the design elements are similar to those of the BE 6, it is evident from the teaser that the e-SUV will not be a completely new offering. Mahindra plans to release it on November 26, the day before, and given the positive feedback for the Batman Edition, it might be a special edition of the BE 6. Mahindra stated, “Get ready to drive the winning formula,” in the teaser.

The Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 were both introduced in India a year ago, but the former has gained greater traction due to its practicality and everyday appeal, while the latter appeals to those seeking a sporty electric vehicle. Mahindra may release a more reasonably priced version of the base Pack One trim to attract more buyers.
The main attraction will be the Mahindra XEV 9S, which shares the INGLO platform with the BE 6 and XEV 9e. It will have two battery options and a real-world range of more than 500 kilometres between charges, drawing design inspiration from the XUV.e8 concept.

The C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights, a crucial component of the BE 6’s front and rear visual appeal, are not featured in the teaser. The base price of the next trim, which is now Rs. 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom), could be lowered by implementing cost-cutting measures and removing some options.
