KTM Maintains Prices Across 390 and Sub-350cc Models

KTM was one of the first to announce that the ex-showroom costs of its well-liked 390 series, which includes the Duke, RC, and Adventure, will remain the same. The Austrian business has made sure that customers can still get its products without having to pay an additional rupee by internalizing the GST hike. The GST reduction has been directly transferred to KTM models with displacements under 350 cc, such as the 160 Duke, 200 Duke, and 250 Duke.
Royal Enfield Takes the Opposite Path

In every case, what may have been a hindrance has been transformed into a chance. Royal Enfield, another formidable competitor in the 450 cc market, has decided to raise the costs. Larger motorcycles in the 450 cc and 650 cc segments now face a GST-led price hike of up to Rs. 29,486, while the sub-350 cc lineup enjoys a price reduction of up to Rs. 22,000.

With a price increase of up to Rs. 21,682, the Himalayan 450 has the biggest spike, going from Rs. 3.05 lakh to Rs. 3.20 lakh, ex-showroom.
PPX Saying
The GST hike on motorcycles above 350cc has created two distinct strategies in India’s two-wheeler market. Aprilia, KTM, and Triumph have chosen to absorb the additional costs, turning a potential challenge into customer savings and loyalty. On the other hand, Royal Enfield’s price hikes place its mid-capacity models at a disadvantage against rivals offering better value. For customers, this season is shaping up as a unique opportunity to save big on premium motorcycles while the market readjusts to new GST norms.
