The sticker price of the basic KTM 390 Adventure has been raised by Rs. 27,000 to Rs. 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom), while the more reasonably priced 390 Adventure X has increased by Rs. 22,410 to Rs. 3.26 lakh (ex-showroom).

Following the holiday season, the prices of the 390 Adventure series have increased by up to Rs. 27,000, despite the Austrian bike maker maintaining the previous rates, which helped it achieve a notable rise in sales.

The sticker price of the basic KTM 390 Adventure has been raised by Rs. 27,000 to Rs. 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom), while the more reasonably priced 390 Adventure X has increased by Rs. 22,410 to Rs. 3.26 lakh (ex-showroom).

In the meantime, the KTM 390 Adventure X is still a great value for the money, providing most buyers with all the necessary equipment. Hardcore off-roading aficionados will continue to favour the basic 390 Adventure with its 19/17-inch tubeless spoke wheel arrangement and adjustable suspension system.

The 390 Adventure X is now fairly close to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 thanks to the new price list; this difference had briefly increased following the GST 2.0 price increase. Even after accounting for the powerful equipment available, the 390 Adventure will now cost approximately Rs. 5 lakh (on-road, depending on the state), which seems pricey for the under 400cc segment.

A 5-inch colour TFT display, ride modes, ride-by-wire, traction control, cruise control, cornering ABS, Bluetooth smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, complete LED lighting and a USB charging outlet are among the amenities included in both adventure motorcycles.

The hardware, features and powertrain of the KTM 390 Adventure and 390 Adventure X are unaltered. A 398.63cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled LC4C engine that produces 45.3 horsepower and 39 Nm of peak torque powers the adventure motorcycles. The motor is connected to a 6-speed gearbox that has a bi-directional quickshifter and a slip and assist clutch.
