With its flat frame and rounded corners, the Honor Robot Phone’s general look is similar to that of the iPhone 17 Pro and Magic 8 series. Three colourways of the Robot Phone were on display. There seems to be a glass section underneath the camera island. The phone’s most notable feature is the gimbal-stabilised camera, which slides into the rear camera module and stretches outward when turned on. This enables the phone to track topics and make automatic adjustments using artificial intelligence, just like standard gimbals.

The first comprehensive look at the prototype concept smartphone has been provided by real-life photos of the Honor Robot Phone that have appeared on Weibo. The gadget was on exhibit in a glass case at the Honor User Carnival in China, according to user accounts. The phone was displayed with a glass or leather back, depending on the finish and in the colours black, white and gold.

Honor has already planned to display the Robot Phone at the MWC 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, but the company has not disclosed the Robot Phone’s availability or sales specifics. The futuristic gadget was initially hinted at by Honor during the Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro launch ceremony.

For vloggers and content producers who want to record hands-free without a tripod, the gimbal camera would be perfect. AI is used by the rotating gimbal module to self-adjust so that the subject is always framed. The Honor Robot Phone’s movable camera seems to have a USB Type-C connector, which might be used to connect additional peripherals. On the bottom side of the phone, there is another USB Type-C port.
