Fortuner Leader Edition 2025 Launched in India: To attract buyers throughout the festive season, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition. The new model has a number of improvements that build on the popularity of the previous year’s iteration. It has a sportier appearance thanks to a redesigned grille, front and rear bumper spoilers, and subtle chrome accents.

Fortuner Leader Edition black
It has glossy black alloys and a hood emblem; the contrast is further enhanced with a dual-tone black roof. In addition to the 4×2 manual and automatic versions, customers can select from four other paint finishes: Attitude Black, Super White, Pearl White, and Silver.
A 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission is available to customers, and the SUV also has a four-wheel-drive (4×2) system. Numerous flexible financing options are available with the new Fortuner Leader Edition, including plans with low annual percentage rates (EMIs) for up to eight years and pre-approved add-ons like Toyota Genuine Accessories and extended warranties.

Interior, the seats and door trims have been updated with a dual-tone design of black and maroon. A Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) has increased safety, and Toyota has also added convenience features like illuminated scuff plates and auto-folding mirrors.

Fortuner Leader Edition specification changes
Mechanical changes have not been seen in this edition. Toyota’s 1GD-FTV 2.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine with a variable geometry turbocharger powers the 2019 Fortuner Leader Edition. It can generate a maximum power output of 201 horsepower and a maximum torque of 500 Nm.

Also, buyers will receive a standard 3-year/100,000 km warranty that may be extended to 5 years/220,000 km, a personalised service plan, and five years of free roadside support. The second week of October 2025 will mark the official opening of reservations for the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition.
