Android 16 Nothing os 4.0: The UK tech company’s upcoming midrange smartphone might be the Nothing Phone 4a. Although there is currently little information available regarding this alleged phone, a recent post on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website suggests that it will soon be released in India. The Nothing Phone 4a is anticipated to provide improvements over the Phone 3a model, which made its debut with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset in India in March.

The Phone 4a’s hardware and design specifics are not disclosed in the BIS listing dated November 13, but it does show that the gadget is approaching India’s regulatory procedure, suggesting an impending launch. The phone and Phone 4a Pro are expected to be released at some point in the first quarter of 2026.

According to the source, it’s the impending Nothing Phone 4a. The Nothing Phone 3a was labelled as A059, while the Phone 3a Pro variation had the A059P model number. This numbering corresponds with the scheme for Nothing’s current phones.
A 50-megapixel Samsung 1/1.57-inch primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony 1/2.74-inch telephoto sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle camera comprise the triple rear camera unit of the Nothing Phone 3a. It features a 32-megapixel camera for taking selfies. It boasts a 5,000mAh battery with 50W wired fast charging capability and a Glyph Interface with numerous customizable options. It is rated IP64 for protection against dust and splashes.

The Nothing Phone 3a, which costs Rs. 22,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, was released in March of this year.
