Some of the most important features that the Kushaq has been lacking for almost four years will now be available, thanks to the makeover; for example, new spy photos have indicated that the Kushaq will finally have a panoramic sunroof.

In the Kushaq, Skoda made significant cost reductions, some of which went beyond making sure the vehicle wasn’t over-engineered. By omitting even popular amenities like a panoramic sunroof and cutting-edge driver aid technologies, the corporation turned to decontenting. Even the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster found in the same Kamiq in Europe was not included.

Additionally, spy photos suggest that the redesigned Skoda Kushaq will have minor appearance changes. There would be a little revision of the bumpers, headlamps, tail lamps and front grilles. Furthermore, a variety of new wheel options in 16- and 17-inch widths will probably be available from Skoda. On the inside, however, no significant architectural modifications are anticipated.

The Skoda Kushaq would be safer with front parking sensors, a 360º video system and an upgraded reverse camera. Numerous Level 2 ADAS functions, including blind spot assist, forward collision-avoidance help, lane keep assist, front collision assist and rear cross traffic assist, will probably also be new in this regard.

The 1.5-liter engine will probably come standard with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the 1.0-litre engine will be available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the bigger engine will use “Active Cylinder Technology (ACT),” a fuel-sipping cylinder deactivation mechanism. The fuel efficiency of the new Kushaq should be between 18 and 20 km/l, depending on the engine and transmission combination.

The new Skoda Kushaq will be identical to the present model mechanically. It will come with a 1.0-litre TSI turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.5-litre TSI turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, both of which are based on the MQB A0 IN platform.
