The Google Pixel 10 Pro is depicted as having “changed for good” the iPhone 17 Pro. But Google has previously made fun of the iPhone manufacturer in an advertisement. There are currently roughly 32 videos in Google’s Best Phones Forever playlist on YouTube, along with a few YouTube Shorts.

Ironically, the advertisement seems to have been influenced by the film Wicked: For Good, which stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The iPhone 17 Pro, portrayed by Ariana Grande in the live-action movie, is depicted in the video as a fairy, while the Google Pixel 10 Pro, portrayed by Cynthia Erivo in the film, looks like a witch.

Google appeared to make fun of Apple for being “inspired” by features that were initially launched on the Pixel phones in an advertisement released on Wednesday as part of the Best Phones Forever campaign. The advertisement features a dialogue between the Google Pixel 10 Pro and the recently released iPhone 17 Pro. Apple’s top device thanks the Pixel model for inspiring the call screening and photo editor, as well as an AI-powered voice assistant that can have “real conversations.”

In a similar vein, as part of the Best Phones Forever campaign, the business released its “Responding to MORE Rumors” advertisement in June. According to the video, people have been accusing Apple of imitating Google. According to an example given in the advertisement, Google launched the Live Translation for Text Messages function “four years ago,” which Apple recently introduced.

As was already established, the Mountain View-based business has previously targeted Apple. The business uploaded a video named “Generation Gap” to YouTube in September. In the advertisement, a Pixel 10 Pro was asked about training chickens to sing by an iPhone model. Google’s phone responded by saying that Google’s Gemini AI was used to create the video.
