Tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) said that the alleged Vivo S50 series, code-named Battle Angel, may be released in China in December in a post on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. According to reports, both phones will also come with a metal frame. A periscope telephoto camera with a “flagship midsole contact image sensor” (translated from Chinese) could be mounted on the rear of the Vivo S50.
Additionally, a few important lineup specifications have also been made public online. Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which is rumoured to be less potent than the top 3nm octa Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, is reported to power the Vivo S50 series.
