Toyota India Sales Jump 43% in October 2025: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) saw a strong increase in sales last month due to lower GST rates and the customary surge in demand around Diwali. This impetus was mostly fueled by the company’s long-standing partnership with Maruti Suzuki.

Together, the Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross accounted for 11,089 of TKM’s October 2025 sales. Sales of the premium MPV series increased by 25% from October 2024 (8,838 units). With 11,555 delivered, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder—the mechanical sibling of Maruti Suzuki’s Grand Vitara—was the second-best-selling model. This represented a staggering 112% increase from the previous year (October 2024: 5,449 units).
In October 2025, TKM sold 40,257 cars, a remarkable 43% increase over the 28,138 units supplied in October 2024. Maruti Suzuki-derived vehicles accounted for a larger share of total volume than Toyota’s own models, even though the Innova series remained the top individual seller.

On TKM’s October 2025 sales report, the Toyota Glanza—a rebranded Maruti Baleno—ranked third with 6,162 units sold, up 44% from October 2024. Regarding the similarly comparable Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, which is based on the Maruti Fronx, TKM delivered 4,561 of the compact SUV last month, which is 48% greater than the 3,092 units delivered in the same month last year. Sales of the Toyota Rumion, a rebranded Maruti Ertiga, reached 3,075 units last month, a 42% increase from October 2024 (2,169 units).
In October 2025, TKM’s CBU lineup also performed admirably. In comparison to the same month last year (115 units), the company sold 168 Toyota Vellfire vehicles, a 46% increase. In October 2024, it was unable to deliver a single Land Cruiser 300, but last month it delivered 74 of the premium SUV.

It’s interesting to note that the sole model to experience a drop in sales in October 2025 was the Toyota Fortuner, one of the Japanese brand’s most popular models in India. Last month, TKM delivered 2,920 of the big SUVs, a 21% decrease from 3,684 units in October 2024. Sales of the Toyota Hilux increased by 10%, from 342 to 377 units. From 176 to 276 units, the Toyota Camry saw a 57% year-over-year increase.
