Mahindra Sales Up 31% in October 2025: The majority of automakers reported robust growth in October 2025, the first full month of sales following the GST changes, which coincided with the height of the holiday season. Last month, Mahindra had one of the biggest increases of any brand.

In October 2025, the Thar range—which includes the traditional three-door model and the five-door Roxx—saw an astounding 51% year-over-year increase. Sales increased to 12,029 units this month from just 7,944 units in October 2024. The primary cause of this improvement is probably the facelift that Mahindra introduced for the three-door model on October 3.
In October 2025, Mahindra’s car sales increased by 31% as a result of the Thar and Bolero’s latest updates. Last month, the corporation sold 71,624 cars, compared to 54,504 in the same month the previous year.
Sales of the XUV 3XO also showed a discernible uptick last month, increasing by 28% year over year from 9,562 units in October 2024 to 12,237 units. The Scorpio family, which comprises the Classic and the N, saw a 14% increase in sales from 15,677 to 17,880 units.

Last month, the Bolero series—which includes the basic model, the Neo (previously known as TUV300), and the Neo Plus (formerly known as TUV300 Plus)—saw a 46% year-over-year increase, climbing from 9,849 units to 14,343 units. This momentum seems to have been fueled by Mahindra’s October 6 revamp of both the Bolero Neo and the traditional Bolero.
Mahindra’s October 2025 sales included 2,134 units of the BE 6 and 2,708 units of the XEV 9e, which went on sale in March of this year. Surprisingly, the more costly and larger of the two Born Electric models is nonetheless more well-liked.
The Marazzo sold 2 units in October 2025, an 85% decrease from 37 units in October 2024, although it appears to still be available at some dealerships.

Among the laggards were the XUV700 and XUV400, which had year-over-year drops of 3% and 85%, respectively. Sales of the three-row SUV dropped from 10,435 to 10,343 units, while deliveries of the competing Hyundai Creta, which is also an EV, decreased from 1,000 to just 152 units.
