New Tata Sierra to Launch on November 25 in ICE & EV Forms

New Tata Sierra

The new Tata Sierra is scheduled to make its premiere on November 25 and will come in both ICE and electric versions.

With its market launch set for November 25, 2025, the all-new Tata Sierra is finally expected to hit Indian roads later this month. In Tata’s SUV portfolio, the new Sierra will revive one of the brand’s most recognisable nameplates in a completely modern form in both IC-engined and electric versions. It will be positioned above the Curvv and below the Harrier.

Split headlamps, a blacked-out bumper portion, and a noticeable silver skid plate that enhances the appearance are further highlights. The ICE version, on the other hand, chooses a more conventional and powerful attitude with chunkier details and a black grille. With its upright proportions, strong shoulder lines, and unique window shape, the design is still clearly Sierra from the sides.

Tata has been teasing the ICE Sierra for over a week, and yesterday saw the release of the first teaser for the electrified version. The EV, which is likewise painted yellow, has a fully sealed front fascia that reveals its EV identity. A continuous LED daytime running strip that runs across the width, right below the bonnet, complements the sleek, grille-free snout.

Additionally, customers will receive adjustable headrests, an auto-dimming IRVM, and a multipurpose steering wheel with an illuminated logo. The entire length of the panoramic sunroof pays homage to the iconic glass panel of the vintage Sierra. The Sierra will be powered by Tata’s brand-new 1.5-litre turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines.

Both models appear to have the same wheel design, as seen by the flat door handles, alloy wheel design, squarish wheel arches, and black body cladding. Expect small EV-specific details at the back, like as separate badging and accents, although the integrated spoiler, boxy tailgate, and wide LED light bar will provide a unified appearance.

With both manual and automatic transmission options, the petrol motor is anticipated to produce about 168 PS and 280 Nm of torque. The electric model is expected to have two battery pack options and will be based on the same principles as the Harrier EV. It is anticipated that the larger of the two will provide a real-world range of more than 500 km.

The most recent teaser films show a cabin that is every bit as contemporary as anticipated, with a triple-panel arrangement that includes a passenger-side information screen, a central touchscreen infotainment unit, and a 12.3-inch fully digital driver display. The dashboard has luxurious upholstery, soft-touch materials, layered surfaces, and ambient lighting.
