A tiny MPV that was recently seen undergoing testing on public roads for the first time will be the first of the company’s next high-volume vehicles to be introduced to our market.

According to spy photos, Nissan intends to set its MPV apart primarily with a distinctive bumper, a redesigned lower air intake at the front, and a radiator grille with hexagonal perforations. We anticipate a new design for the 14-inch wheels on the sides, and the bumper and tail lamp graphics at the back may have a unique appearance.
Nissan might provide options for automated, manual and 5-speed manual transmissions. The price may start at about 5.75 lakh (ex-showroom), and the company intends to introduce it in February 2026.
The spy photos make it quite plain that the forthcoming Nissan MPV will be a rebadged version of the Renault Triber. Its body is the same, and it features SUV-style wheel arch cladding, curved mirrors, and sweptback headlamps. Similarly, it appears to feature small 14-inch wheels.
The upcoming MPV from Nissan is probably going to have features like dual-tone alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, auto-folding ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, LED projector headlamps with integrated LED DRL, LED front fog lamps, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless smartphone charger, and cruise control. In terms of safety, we anticipate that the standard six airbags, TCS, HSA, reverse camera, and front parking sensors will be among the highlights.
The next MPV will be Nissan’s replacement for the Datsun Go+. In order to have a more spacious interior, it should be higher, wider, and have a considerably longer wheelbase. Standard will probably be a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, normally aspirated gasoline engine with 71 horsepower and 96 Nm of torque.

Except for minor details like upholstery, décor, and colour schemes, the interior of the future Nissan MPV in India should mostly resemble that of the Renault Triber. The third row should have two detachable seats that allow consumers to increase the boot space, while the other seven seats should be normal. It should be possible to slide, recline, fold and tumble the seats in the second row.
