The totally camouflaged Yamaha XSR 155 was reportedly observed undergoing testing in India. However, earlier this year, the Nmax 155 was on display at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. Given that the Hero Xoom 160 and TVS Ntorq 150 have greatly increased the popularity of the maxi-scooter class in India, Yamaha’s Nmax 155 in the 150–160cc segment appears to be a good choice.
Since the XSR 155 is a neo-retro roadster—a market that is attracting a lot of interest from young consumers—it is also one of Yamaha’s most anticipated models. In the Indian market, it will compete with models such as the TVS Ronin and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
Regarding the foundations, the R15 V4 and the XSR 155 share a platform. The well-known 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which produces 18.1 horsepower and 14 Nm of peak torque, will power it. In contrast to its sports bike sister, the neo-retro roaster is considerably easier to ride because of its upright riding stance, which sets it apart from its stablemates.
The XSR 155 will have a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, LED indicators, a circular LED headlamp, front USD forks, and a thin rear portion with a single-piece, flat bench seat. Hardware-wise, the package will have 17-inch wheels, a rear monoshock, and disc brakes on both ends.

The Yamaha MT-07 is anticipated to go on sale in India in November 2025, with a price tag of between Rs. 7,50,000 and Rs 8,00,000. The Triumph Trident 660, Honda CB750 Hornet, and Yamaha MT-03 are currently available motorcycles that resemble the MT-07. The KTM 650 Duke, which will go on sale in India in January 2026, is another motorcycle that resembles the MT-07.
A single-pod headlight, a muscular fuel tank, a raked-up tail section, a wide handlebar, a small exhaust canister, and 17-inch wheels on both ends make up the aggressive front fascia of the Yamaha MT-07 motorbike.
