New 2025 Skoda Octavia RS Launched in India: The Octavia RS was introduced today as a special Fully-Built Unit (FBU) to commemorate Skoda’s 25 years in India. This performance sedan, which retails for Rs. 49.99 lakh (ex-showroom), sold out in just 20 minutes after pre-booking opened a few days ago. Delivery is scheduled to start next month.

It is claimed to have incredibly precise handling and a smooth ride because of its sophisticated chassis design, sports suspension, and progressive steering. The Skoda Octavia RS’s sporty posture and distinctive RS embellishments make it a visually striking vehicle. Complete LED matrix headlamps, dynamic indication LED taillamps, and gloss black accents are all part of the design.
The interior includes ambient lighting, a virtual cockpit, sports seats with electronic adjustment, memory, heating, and massage features, and leather and Suedia upholstery with red contrast stitching. It has a spacious 600-litre trunk that can be expanded to 1,555 litres and is 4,709 mm long, 1,829 mm wide, and 1,457 mm high. It rides on 19-inch Elias anthracite alloy wheels that are encased in low-profile 225/40 R19 tyres. Five colour schemes—Mamba Green, Candy White, Race Blue, Magic Black, and Velvet Red—are available to buyers.
The 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine that powers the 2017 Octavia RS is the brand’s most potent offering, with a maximum power output of 265 PS and a peak torque of 370 Nm. The sedan, which is electronically limited to a top speed of 250 km/h, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 6.4 seconds when paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
A 4-year or 100,000-kilometre warranty and free roadside support for four years are included with the Skoda Octavia RS. Delivery to customers is scheduled to start on November 6. In Skoda’s Indian history, the Octavia RS holds a particular significance. As the nation’s first turbocharged gasoline vehicle, the first model was unveiled in 2004 and swiftly gained popularity among enthusiasts. The new Octavia RS comes back twenty years later to demonstrate the point once more.
