Yamaha WR155 R Engine
The dual-purpose motorcycle has several noteworthy characteristics, such as a fully digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and a self-start. Its core is a 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that can produce up to 16.6 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and 14.3 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. A six-speed transmission is connected to the engine.
Yamaha WR155 R Design
Based on the spy photos, it looks like a Yamaha WR155 R with a temporary red license plate was seen en route to a TVC shoot. The Yamaha Racing Blue paint job was identical to that of the global-spec model. It goes without saying that the Yamaha WR155 R is a popular motorcycle in other Asian markets like Indonesia and Thailand because it can be used for both off-roading and city transportation.

Yamaha WR155 R Expected Price
In the Indian market, the Hero Xpulse 210 and Kawasaki KLX 230 will be directly challenged by the Yamaha WR155 R. Both of these off-road vehicles are priced under Rs 2 lakh, and we anticipate that the WR155 R will be priced similarly. There aren’t many dual-purpose motorcycle options available to Indian motorcycle enthusiasts, so if Yamaha does introduce the WR155 R there, it will be a big step forward for the company’s home market.
Yamaha WR155 R Suspension
The Yamaha WR155 R, which sits on a semi-double-cradle frame, has a monoshock absorber at the back with extended suspension travel and telescopic front forks. It has dual-purpose tyres on its 18-inch rear wheel and 21-inch front wheel. The WR155 R maintains its off-roading nature by having a saddle height of 880 mm and a ground clearance of 245 mm.
