Festive Demand and Market Trends
Bookings and inquiries have increased as a result of the consistent sales growth brought on by the GST rate reductions and the demand over the holiday season. In comparison to last year’s holiday season, the business said that showroom foot traffic increased. The market for entry-level commuter motorcycles saw notable growth in particular. In September 2025, Hero sold 61,003 scooters and 6,26,217 motorbikes, including exports.

Hero Vida’s EV Success Story
Hero Vida’s success story continued in September 2025, when 12,736 people registered on the Vahan portal. In the e2w segment, the YoY market share increased from 4.7 percent to 12.2 percent. Due to its lower initial ex-showroom pricing, the newly released VX2 electric scooter with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription model was the main driver of this sales success.
Record Exports and Global Expansion
Hero MotoCorp shipped 111,584 units in Q2, the most ever. In September 2025, it exported 39,638 units, a remarkable YoY gain of 94.8 percent over the same time the previous year. Three of the company’s offerings, the Splendor+, Passion+, and Vida VX2, were recently released in the 125 Million Edition. Both commuter motorcycles’ special edition models were unveiled with fresh grey paint jobs and black, brown, and golden decorations. The bikes also had a 3D plaque with the “125M” emblem on the gasoline tank.

Hero MotoCorp’s Market Leadership
However, the Vida VX2 displayed the 125-3D plaque on the front apron despite not having the grey colourway. For many years, Hero MotoCorp dominated the two-wheeler market. It is the largest two-wheeler brand in the world, not only in India. Hero swiftly recovered after Honda managed to unseat it from the top spot a few months ago, and it has been the biggest two-wheeler brand ever since.
