GST 2.0 Brings Mixed Impact
For Royal Enfield, the most recent GST reform, known as GST 2.0, was a mixed bag. The 450cc and 650cc models, such as the Himalayan 450, Continental GT 650, and Bear 650, became more costly for the general public when the GST was raised from the previous 28 percent to 40 percent. In contrast, the entire 350cc model lineup became more affordable and accessible to buyers thanks to the 18 percent GST increase from the previous 28 percent.
