Windsor Likely Remains Best-Selling Model
The manufacturer has not published model-specific sales figures, but the Windsor was likely the best-selling model. Retail sales figures show that it was the brand’s top model from January to August. Furthermore, the electric crossover was India’s best-selling electric vehicle for 11 months, from October 2024 to August 2025.
Record Wholesale Figures for Windsor and Comet
The Windsor recorded its greatest-ever wholesale in September 2025, while the MG Comet had the highest wholesale for the current calendar year. According to data from the Vahan Portal, MG Select is now India’s second-largest luxury brand among electric vehicles.

There are eight different MG models available from JSW MG Motor. It sells the Cyberster and M9 from MG Select stores and the Comet EV, Astor, Windsor EV, Hector, ZS EV, and Gloster from conventional showrooms

JSW MG Motor sold 6,728 automobiles in September of this year, according to internal wholesale data supplied by the business. Sales increased by 34% from September of last year, when the company supplied 5,021 cars. Updated Ex-Showroom Prices and Upcoming Majestor Launch
The Astor, Hector, and Gloster now have ex-showroom starting costs of 9.65 lakh, 14.00 lakh, and 39.80 lakh rupees, respectively. As it prepares for the Majestor’s introduction this quarter, JSW MG Motor is offering further incentives of up to 3.50 lakh rupees on the Gloster, particularly.
GST Impact on ICE Vehicle Pricing
The GST rate for ICE automobiles has decreased by anywhere from 5 to 13%, while the GST rate on EVs has stayed at 5%. All three of JSW MG Motor’s ICE models now enjoy the full benefits of the updated GST structure, with the ex-showroom pricing of the Astor, Hector, and Gloster dropping by up to 34,000, 49,000, and 2.83 lakh rupees, respectively.
