GST 2.0 Impact on Suzuki Hayabusa Prices
After the GST 2.0 framework was introduced, Suzuki Motorcycle India updated the price of the 2025 Hayabusa. Motorcycles with engines larger than 350cc are now subject to a 40% goods and services tax under the new tax structure, up from a previous 28% charge. Suzuki’s flagship superbike and other high-end two-wheelers have been directly impacted by this shift. Consequently, the Hayabusa’s ex-showroom price increased by Rs 1.16 lakh, from Rs 16.90 lakh to Rs 18.06 lakh. Crucially, the model has not undergone any mechanical or design changes; therefore, this increase is solely the result of taxes.

Engine and Mechanical Details Remain Unchanged
The Suzuki Hayabusa’s 1,340cc inline four-cylinder engine, which generates 190 horsepower and 142 Nm of torque, is still its mechanical prowess. Additionally, it still complies with the most recent OBD-2B emission regulations. Features like cruise control, traction control, and a bi-directional quickshifter are still available on the motorcycle. This guarantees that the Hayabusa will always have technology appropriate for both performance and long-distance riding.
Colour Options and Styling Updates
Suzuki added additional dual-tone options to the 2025 Hayabusa’s colour scheme earlier this year, but the price remained the same. The Hayabusa is not the only group affected by GST 2.0. The price of other Suzuki models with huge capacities has also increased.

Price Hike Across Suzuki’s Premium Lineup
The GSX-8R is now listed at Rs 9.89 lakh, up Rs 64,000, and the V-Strom 800DE is now priced at Rs 11.01 lakh, up Rs 71,000. These modifications demonstrate how the premium motorbike market is being impacted by tax reforms.
Changing Economics of Superbikes in India
Customers may anticipate such price rises across the superbike category, which will change the economics of performance motorcycling in India, as the Hayabusa is now priced at Rs 18.06 lakh.

PPX Saying
The 2025 Suzuki Hayabusa remains the same iconic superbike in terms of design, engine, and features, but GST 2.0 has significantly raised its cost for Indian buyers. With its price now at Rs. 18.06 lakh ex-showroom, along with hikes for other Suzuki big-capacity motorcycles, superbike enthusiasts will need to adapt to higher ownership costs across the premium segment.
