The market attitude is currently relatively strong due to the lower GST rates and the forthcoming festive season of Diwali, which is traditionally considered fortunate for purchasing new vehicles. As a result, several highly anticipated automobiles and SUVs will be released within the next 2-3 months. So, in this article, we will discuss the impending automobile debuts this year from Tata, Hyundai, Mahindra, and Skoda, among other major automakers.

1. New-Gen Hyundai Venue

The next-generation Venue will be available in the domestic market on October 24, 2025. The new SUV will receive a cosmetic upgrade in terms of style, cabin, and features. It has been observed several times as a test mule, and the most of the stylistic cues are derived from larger Hyundai SUVs such as the Creta and Alcazar.
The next-generation Hyundai Venue is also slated to include a first-in-segment Level 2 ADAS suite with improved safety features. Mechanically, it is said to have the same set of petrol and diesel engines.
2. 2025 Mahindra Thar Facelift
The 3-door Thar off-roader will receive a mid-cycle facelift in October 2025, with mild design modifications, new cabin upholstery, and upscale features. The majority of the upgrades will be influenced by the five-door Thar Roxx.
It is expected to feature a 10.25-inch digital driver display and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It will continue to be powered by the 2.0L turbo petrol, 1.5L diesel, and 2.2L diesel engines.
3. Tata Sierra
Tata Sierra is expected to return to Indian roads in November 2025, following a more than two-decade absence. The SUV’s pre-production model was unveiled during the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January. Since then, it has been photographed several times during test runs, with spy photographs exposing the majority of the specifics of the production-ready version.
The Sierra will be available with both petrol and diesel engines, while maintaining its distinctive form and antique style characteristics. According to reports, an all-electric vehicle equipped with Harrier’s battery pack and other components is also ready for sale.
4. 2025 Tata Punch Facelift

Tata Punch, the highest-selling vehicle in 2024, is poised to receive a facelift with improved styling and new amenities. The spy photographs indicate that the majority of the exterior improvements will be drawn from the Punch EV, with the exception of the LED taillight cluster, which is inspired by the Altroz.
The cabin will get a new 2-spoke steering wheel, 6-airbags, and an 8-speaker music system, among other things. We anticipate that the SUV will keep the same petrol engine and CNG kit, as well as the current transmission options.
5&6. Tata Harrier and Safari Petrol
Tata Motors will introduce the petrol-powered Harrier and Safari in October 2025 in India. Both SUVs will have the brand’s 1.5L turbocharged GDi engine, which produces 166 bhp and 280 Nm while mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
The petrol version of the Harrier and Safari would be less expensive than the diesel vehicles, making it an attractive option for purchasers looking for non-diesel versions of both SUVs.
7. Skoda Octavia

The Skoda Octavia RS will ultimately be available in India in November 2025. The high-performance sedan will be powered by a 2.0L turbocharged TSI petrol engine with a maximum power output of 262 bhp and peak torque of 370 Nm, mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
This engine already powers the Skoda Kodiaq RS and Volkswagen Golf GTI. The Octavia RS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and has an electronically regulated top speed of 250 km/h. It has been reported that the Octavia RS will be available in limited quantities in India.
8. MG Majestor
In December 2025, MG Motor India will debut the Majestor full-size SUV in India. Unlike the other two premium models, M9 and Cyberster, it will be sold through ordinary MG showrooms rather than MG Select dealerships.
Already on display at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January, the MG Majestor will be the brand’s new flagship offering, positioned above the Gloster and boasting a variety of bells and whistles. It will be powered by a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive.
