1. Hyundai Bayon

The next-generation Hyundai Bayon, which will compete with the Maruti Fronx, will be available in India in the middle of 2026. The future model, which shares a platform with the next-generation i20, will probably diverge from the Venue by prioritising elegance above practicality and spaciousness. A brand-new 1.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine is anticipated to make its debut, and a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline engine may also be available.
2. New Maruti Fronx Hybrid

The Maruti Fronx will undergo its mid-cycle refresh in 2027 and debut a series-hybrid powertrain with this update. The first-ever Maruti Fronx Hybrid will feature a modified version of the Z12E 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that only serves as a generator. An electric motor will send power to the wheels. The series-hybrid system is expected to deliver an impressive fuel economy of over 35 km/l.
3. New Maruti Brezza

It is anticipated that the second half of next year will see a makeover for the Maruti Brezza. The sub-4 meter SUV is anticipated to get a light bar connecting the taillights in addition to standard upgrades like updated bumpers, adjusted headlights and tail lights, and new alloy wheels. Among the new features of the redesigned Vitara Brezza could be ventilated seats, a 360º video system, and Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems.
4. Mahindra XUV 3XO EV

The pure electric version of the XUV 3XO, which is positioned beneath the XUV400 and intended to rival Tata Motors’ popular Nexon EV, is expected to be introduced by Mahindra sometime in early 2026. The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV, which is anticipated to come with a 35 kWh NMC battery pack, may start at about 14 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
